Getting to Cagliari

By Plane

Cagliari is easily accessed by air, primarily through Cagliari Elmas Airport (CAG), which offers numerous direct flights from over 80 European and Italian cities, particularly via budget carriers like Ryanair and EasyJet.

Airport is connected to Town center by rail and buses.

By Ferry

The port of Cagliari is situated in the centre of the city. It is connected with the Mainland via daily ferry trips (Rome-Civitavecchia, Naples and Palermo).

By Train

Nearby the port, there are the train station as well as the main terminals for local and regional bus lines.

Tourist info

Getting around Cagliari is convenient with a walkable historic center (Castello, Marina, Villanova) and extensive public transport, primarily operated by CTM S.p.A.. Key options include city buses, a light rail (metro) system, and taxis, with Google Maps for routes.
